It can carry two bikes up to 36kg/80lbs each (27kg/60lbs per bike in motorhome mode), making it compatible with electric bikes. It fits on 5cm hitches of caravans, motorhomes, and fifth-wheel trailers. Its lockable ratchet arms, which do not touch the frame, securely hold the bike's front wheel, even with carbon fiber frames. The wheel supports are compatible with tires up to 12.7cm wide, making the Escapee compatible with fatbikes right out of the box. Finally, thanks to the optional ramp and bridge (sold separately), loading heavy and bulky bikes becomes a breeze: just roll them onto the bike rack.
