Information
A brand new geometry, a brand new suspension, thoughtfully designed specifications: it’s ready to take you wherever the trail leads.
THE TRAIL REFERENCE — When Specialized decided to design the all-new Stumpjumper, they had ambitious goals. It had to excel on every type of trail, for every style of rider. To achieve this, they sought a significant weight reduction without sacrificing durability, a stiff and responsive frame that remains light and lively, a geometry that improves everyone’s ride, and the best suspension kinematics they know how to design. It turns out you can have your cake and eat it too with the new Stumpjumper.
THE SMOOTHEST SUSPENSION YOU’VE EVER RIDDEN — Specialized refined the Stumpjumper suspension kinematics to bring out the best overall performance possible in a 130 mm package. Countless hours of suspension lab development and field testing created a refined mid-travel ripper that devours big terrain like a gravity-fed beast, rides like a charm on all terrain, and climbs as if it had a motor.
PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY — The new Stumpjumper’s S-Sizing geometry hits the progressive sweet spot. It’s long, low, and slack, with a short offset front fork and a steeper seat tube angle. These numbers combine to make your ride more stable, more comfortable, and better everywhere. Thanks to the FlipChip adjustment, you can fine-tune your fit even further, ensuring your new Stumpjumper performs perfectly on the terrain you choose.
RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED™ — Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that guarantees benchmark handling and flawless performance, no matter the frame or rider size. Whether you’re a young man excited to jump on an S1 or a DH enthusiast giant needing the long S6, you’ll experience the same ride characteristics – tight turns and balanced front and rear stiffness – at the lightest possible weight. And by light, we mean truly light: 2,250 grams (S-Works, size S3, with rear shock).
