Information
- In general, the larger the contact surface, the more efficiently energy is transferred. However, the larger the contact surface, the heavier the pedal will feel. The challenge for their engineers was to identify the areas useful for energy transmission and then optimize the pedal design to limit those that are unused. This task allowed LOOK to design a pedal with the best weight-to-contact-surface ratio on the market.
- The lateral contact support guides your foot in finding your pedal and provides a contact point even if you haven't yet engaged the cleat. This large contact area prevents your foot from slipping on the pedal body and offers consistent and reassuring support.
- The mechanism works under all external conditions (in mud, forces are noticeably different from those encountered when dry), and more space allows for the shedding of various foreign bodies (mud, sand). These areas give the user a constant and stable feeling of being securely clipped in, in all conditions.
- An adjustable tension screw lets you set the entry/release resistance to your personal skill level.
- SPD compatible.
